Kimber Lyn Gamble
My name is Kimberly Lyn Gamble. I was 17 when I smoked pot for the first time and 19 when I started other drugs. I came from a very traumatic childhood where I never felt like I belonged. Drugs made me forget about it. I was in an addiction for 31 years.
I got clean because basically I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was tired of that life.
New Life/Resurrected Ministries has supported me 100% on this journey and I know I can pick up the phone any time and talk to Leah or Nathan when I need to.
I will have 2 years clean on May 5 of this year.
I love my full time job at Sharp Shoppers as a cashier, I plan on working on my relationships with my kids, getting even closer to God and just continue my clean and sober life that I love.

Ashley Roberts
My name is Ashley Roberts. I was born and raised in a small town in Kansas. I started using alcohol and drugs after the death of three of my children in 2011. I was angry at the world, myself and God. I used drugs to cope with the emptiness that I felt.
In 2020 I decided that I wanted a different life but I didn’t know what it was that I was looking for. I moved to Virginia and got plugged into New Life Recovery/ Resurrected Ministries. It was with these ministries that I found what it was I was looking for, JESUS. The people I have met in this community have helped me heal from my past. I have a faith in Jesus that I have never had before. This April I will be five years clean. I am also hoping to be able to help others with their grief by becoming a grief counselor.

Lewis Roberts
My name is Lewis Roberts. I was born and raised in Kansas. I spent most of my childhood in foster care, as a teenager I started using and selling drugs. I was arrested and while I was in prison my mother passed away.
After I was released my life spiraled out of control in addiction. I was an addict for 17 years. In and out of jail for drug related offenses. After I lost my dad in 2019 while I was incarcerated, I had had enough.
In May of 2020 I moved to Virginia and started going to New Life Recovery/ Resurrected Ministries. This program has helped keep me accountable in my recovery. I will be five years clean in May of this year. My goal is to help others find the same freedom that I myself found in sobriety. All glory to God.

Wilson Caruthers
Hello my name is Wilson Caruthers. I am 57 years old. I was around 25 years old when I started hard drugs. I stopped Sept 6, 2023 when I got locked up, and I have been clean ever since.
I didn't have any specific reason for using hard drugs except getting divorced from my first wife. She took my two daughters away. I didn't use hard drugs everyday until after my second marriage. I did different drugs for over 30 years. Then God delivered me and took the cravings away. The reason I decided to get clean was to get my son back. I made an oath to God not to go back to that lifestyle. New Life Recovery and Resurrected Ministries has helped me by sharing their time and by showing love to me at my lowest point in my life. To be around Nathan and Leah make me want to be a better person and to help others. I have been clean for 21 months. My motivation and life goals is to help recovering addicts and be pleasing to God by saving souls for Jesus and sharing His love with them.

“i am 43 years old. my life has been a journey of many twisting and turning roads. three years ago, i was a raging alcoholic that didn’t care about myself, let alone anyone else. when i violated my probation, i contacted resurrected ministries. i knew at that moment, i had made the right decision to taking the steps to staying sober. they have been there with me every step of my sobriety. when i was released from prison, they helped me get into a sober living home and have been the best support i have ever had. they give me accountability. jesus christ lives in nathan & leah and they only want to see people get their lives together and they are the type of people who will support you.”
